Clever Ways to Organize Custom Video Orders

Clever Ways to Organize Custom Video Orders

This guide will help you discover the easiest ways to stay organized and produce top-quality custom videos. The more organized you are, the more incredible your clips will become. Allow yourself the chance to relax and produce jaw-dropping customs time and time again.

You have already done the hard work by making yourself stand out amongst other creators. You captivated your client(s) into wanting more of you; that’s impressive! Now, you must produce custom videos that will leave your clients begging for more. This step can be daunting, especially when you are juggling multiple custom video orders.

Stress can cause many unsavory thoughts to fill your head: “I’ll never get these done,” “What if I don’t deliver on time?” or even worse, “Why did I start doing this? I want to quit.”

Before you begin, take a deep breath and release all negative thoughts surrounding you and your work. Everyone has hard days; take a day off if it will help you feel better. Always remember that you are doing your best!

So, what can we do to mitigate our stress regarding custom videos? It all begins with your planning.

Planning Hacks

Planning is arguably the most important part of filming custom videos. If the planning goes awry, you can end up exhausting your time and energy. This is the last thing we want to happen.

1. While discussing the custom video idea with a client, ask as many questions as necessary! Ensure you understand their wants, needs and visions. If the client sends you long messages that are hard to follow, have them break down the main five points of the video. This makes it simpler for you.

2. After your client places their custom video order, start a new document with their name, approximate due date and video idea. Add in notes, screen captures or anything else that will help you.

3. Organize all your custom video orders into groups. You can group the orders by toys, actions performed and more. The top of your list should be the first custom video due all the way down to the last custom.

4. Set a day and time to film each of your videos. Be sure to keep your limitations in mind; do not overwork yourself. By not over-exerting yourself, you will be more productive in the long run.

5. Charge all your necessities the night before filming! This is not limited only to filming equipment; ensure your vibrators are charged too.

Filming Hacks

For me, filming multiple custom videos in one day works best, in which case, things must go as smoothly as possible to ensure maximum productivity. Thankfully, there are extremely easy ways to stay on task during filming!

1. Lay out all necessary supplies for each custom video you will be filming that day. Supplies can include shoes, lingerie, wigs, water and more!

2. Before filming, place notecards near your filming area with details on them. Are you supposed to say a key phrase? Change the camera angle? Lick your lips? Write it down in bold marker so you can easily see it!

Last Minute Steps

Congratulations! You have followed each hack and have now finished your custom videos. Give yourself a round of applause! There is only one more tip I need to share with you.

Final Step

This step is only necessary if your site does not automatically send out your custom video after you upload it. Once you finish filming your customs, set reminders on each of your devices about the due date. If electronic reminders don’t help, write it on a sticky note and put them everywhere. This is imperative. Why? Because delivering your customs on time will help you build a rapport with your clients.

Bonus Tip

If a client is not happy with their custom video order, do whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you’d like, you can agree to re-film the entire custom video, certain parts of it or you don’t have to do anything at all! You never have to do anything you are uncomfortable with, no matter who the client is.

Each of the steps listed above can help you stay organized and allow you to accept more custom video orders. Fulfilling clients’ fantasies can feel difficult, but applying these steps can make you swoon over new custom video orders. You can begin by adding in all the hacks at once or add them in one at a time to see what works best for you.

Now, I challenge you to apply at least one of these steps while producing custom videos. Find what video hacks work best for you. Afterwards, feel free to reach out to me to update me on how it helped!
